Where it shines

Streets, night and anything with strong light and shadow. Colour turns into tone, so a busy scene becomes a pattern of light and dark, and the grain gives flat areas texture.

What to watch

The print runs dark, even for skin in daylight, so lift Exposure for faces. Colours of the same brightness turn the same grey; a red jacket can vanish against green leaves.
