Kodachrome 64 look

The slide film behind decades of magazine colour: dense, with highlights held down and deep shadows. A slide is scanned directly, with no paper.

Where it shines

Bright sun, strong colour and simple shapes: street corners, cars, painted walls. Hard light that would be too much for a negative suits it.

What to watch

Shadows close quickly, so a dark scene or a backlit face loses detail; lift Exposure a little. A slide has no print step, so Printing offers no paper for it.
