Where it shines

Beaches, painted walls and travel under a clear sky. The blue deepens most where the sky is already blue, and white walls stay white.

What to watch

On a grey day there is little blue to deepen. Low sun on skin goes red, as in the backlit portrait above; lower Strength, or use Everyday.

Every photograph here was rendered by Photonica with the preset as it opens in the editor. Results vary with the light and colour in your photo. Everyday, Road Trip and Street are free; the other nine presets come with Pro. Guest editing includes three exports a day; a free account removes that daily limit and lets you save your own presets.
